I watched 2 guys catching Red fish one day while fishing in the Salt ditch with a strong current. I tried using the same bait but could not get a bite. I got to talking with them after I watched them catch 5 or 6 fish.
I found out that they were dipping the soft plastic in a Chart. color "garlic" scent.
