Get the biggest displacement you can, it will pay for itself in the long run. I don't own an Ecoboost but I have a few friends that own them, everyone of them said they should have bought the V8. I have a 3/4 ton cummins a nd a 1/2 ton Eco Diesel, I love both of them. I haven't pulled a camper with the 1/2 ton yet but pulls my bay boat with no issue. I wouldn't blink an eye at the 6.2 Chevy/GMC, they are pretty solid.
