CORKIES AND TOP-WATER BAITS PAYING OFF FOR SOME ANGLERS
This time of the year as the water begins to warm up top-water and slow sinking baits begin to work well. Captain Darrell Guidry reports that he and his crew using a pink top-water bait landed some trout on the north end in clear water. Captains Mike Bares and Travis Spicer continued to fill limits with slot redfish from around the jetties on cracked crab, dead bait and Hackberry Hustlers tipped with a little shrimp.
