Default Venice 3-17

Had a trip with capt Eddie Burger and capt Hoop Saturday. Left the dock around 6 in some pretty thick fog. Capt Eddie navigated through the pass and into the Gulf like a pro. These captains REALLY trust their radar.

Went to a shrimp boat to start the day off and by 8:30 had more than 20 blackfin in the box. Left them biting and headed to look for some yellowfin.

Starting chunking and got hooked up on a 60lb yellowfin. Landed that along with a 40 lb AJ, and numerous kings, and bonitas.

We also caught two smaller YF, around 30-40lbs, on topwater which was really cool to see.

After the chunking slowed down we headed in to a rig and started trolling for Wahoo. Caught 2 wahoo in about 45 min and took it to the house.

Great day on the water with a fun crew. We filled up every icechest that we had brought with fish.

final tally: 3 YF, 2 Wahoo, 1 AJ, and 20+ BF.
