Years ago Florida started making changes to fishery limits and regulations using the same pseudo science and propaganda you are seeing. Each added restriction makes the next one easier to push through. Now we are at the point that you need to take your attorney along on each trip if you plan on keeping any fish, and you need to fish (and catch) each day for a week to get enough reds and trout for a fish fry.
