There is plenty of scienctific data to back up reducing trout limits.....everyone seems to forget that part! LDWF sets trout SPR at 18, which they use to gauge how healthy the trout population is. SPR levels at the time were lower than 18. LDWF said that! LDWF said moving it to 15 prob wouldn't bring levels back up, that do get it right, would have to go as low as 5 or 10. CCA knew nobody would like that, so continued to push for 15.
Current SPR levels are still WAY below 18.....don't be surprised to see them act on it.
As far as triple tail. LA could prob get away with the most liberal limit of 4 a man, which is a ton of meat.
