I just started focusing on specks at the end of last years duck season. Let me tell you it's one thing to get a flock of mallards in but it's a whole not her felling getting a group of specks down with the landing gear out ten feet from the blind. From my little experience with specks, they are not near as forgiving on the call as ducks are. I'll admit it, I get way more of a rush seeing those suckers flip to get into a spread then I do with ducks. I've hunted ducks for a long time and those specks are a total different ball game. One thing out of place, one movement, one missed cluck and they gone.
