Are the Olympic "Curlers" .... the best in the world?

I have watched several hours of the curling matches [don't know it that is the correct term] and for people that probably have 100's if not 1000's of hours experience..... IMO, sometimes it just does not show.

Several days ago, in one match on the last throw there was only one "stone" barely in scoring position. All the last thrower needed to do was put the stone a few feet from the "Button" to win for his team. His throw slid all the way pasted the largest circle.

I have seen other stones stop 10 feet short and off to the side so it was not put there as a defensive throw.

Most players make very good throws...... but some throws, I think I could do better with a little practice.
