cornbread chili pie
took yesterdays chili and made a pie/loaf thing. made a cornbread batter and covered the bottom and sides of a skillet. the baked at 400 for 10 min. spooned cold chili into skillet over cornbread, about 3/4" deep. spooned the rest of the cornbread batter over the chili and spread it out to cover chili. baked at 400 for 40 min. edible and filling, but a little dry. a spoon or two of red beans ought to fix it up.
