They?re my premier worm and swim bait and top water frog hooks. Generally use the 4/0 and 3/0 for my smaller worms for pond fish and 5/0 for my bigger worms and brush hogs etc. Picked up some more for my swimbaits which I am very violent on hooksets with and have had minor problems over the last 10 or 15 years I?ve been fishing them, mostly maybe 3 straightening out on chopiques and stumps and when having to extract from a fish with pliers which has been very few. Love gamakatsu hooks regardless. Just wanted to see if anyone else was having those problems (hook snapping, straightening on fish etc.)
Now one thing I really have a problem with is humdingers straightening out on chopiques but that?s a wholenother subject.
