Texaco cut and the north entrance of West Cove are probably the two toughest places to run on low tide for a Big Lake newbie. For both, have to make sure to stay right in the middle and keep that bearing as far out into the lake/WC as possible before going north or south. I usually completely avoid Texaco cut on a really low tide.
