Big Lake 6/24/17
Turned out to be a pretty decent day. Started out with very calm wind and smooth water. Once the sun came up the wind picked up a little. It never got real windy. Spicer Hughes had live shrimp. I wasn't expecting that! Ended the day with 10 trout and one red. There were a lot of throwbacks. I'd say only 1 out of 10 caught was a keeper. The lake is still real muddy and finding clean water is the key. I'm sure others caught a lot more than I did but I'm still learning the lake. All fish were caught on live shrimp under a popping cork. We'll see what happens tomorrow with the wind shifting to the north.
