I'd like to bring this up for followup... I put mine in a few years back...all the info then said float it on top of that thin pad that goes down first. Mine is a raised Acadian style house, subfloor is that MSD or glued fine sawdust plywood sized stuff, whatever that is called.
I thought it had to 'move' due to humidity changes and such? I hate this floating, constantly have to slide boards tiny amounts, plan to carefully apply glue sparingly and push them tight. Oh well...
