Cooking Ideas

6. When making pumpkin decrease sugar by half and add more cinnamon, nutmeg, or vanilla to increase sweetness.
7. Instead of cured ham try a fresh pork loin with herbs and spices.

A holiday recipe:
Cajun Spiced Mashed Sweet Potatoes for Four (From Foodfit.com)

2 large Sweet Potatoes (peeled and cut into 2" squares)
1 tbsp lime juice
1/3 skim milk
Cajun Seasoning to taste
Salt to taste

Place sweet potatoes in pot and cover in cold water. Boil sweet potatoes on high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes until they are soft. Drain them well. Mash potatoes and add lime juice stir well. Add milk and stir well. Add cajun seasoning and salt to taste.

how do what i did last year.... drink till you puke
ha ha but no! Great advise! We use the charbroil, best turkey fryer out there! It's a oil-les fryer, cooks quick, not bad because no oil your drowning it in, also it comes out JUST like fried turkey! Crispy skin and so juicy inside!!!!!
