Default Teach Others About Fishing with LDWF

Have you been looking for an opportunity to teach others about fish or how to go fishing? Become an Aquatic Volunteer Instructor for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries today! Attend a free 8-hour workshop in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, April 12th, or in New Orleans on Wednesday, May 17th, to learn how to teach topics such as knot tying, fish ID, fish anatomy, basic fishing tackle, proper casting, and more! Once you go through this training, you are able to volunteer at LDWF events or borrow our equipment for your own aquatic education programs. This is a great opportunity for those interested in passing on their passion for fishing and getting others hooked on it, too! For more information or to apply online, visit our website at: http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/ldwf-volunteer-programs. If you have any questions, contact Alayna McGarry at (504) 286-4050 or at amcgarry@wlf.la.gov.
