Hunted Grand Chenier Saturday with my wife and I never in my life saw so many spoonbills. We took six, then waited to see if anything else would show. The only other ducks we could have gotten were a pair of redheads which we proceeded to miss. Sunday we hunted our "experimental" pond in Little Chenier. We ended up with 5, 2-Greys, 2-Whistlers and 1-Spoonbill. We really should have had 10 but we wer off a little. All in all it was a good opener. Thanks to my wife and the good lord for this good season.
