Got a call from dealership today. Gun was found! Story I got was service manager saw it and took it out and locked it up, but then forgot to stick it back in vehicle when they were done.
I didn't ask any questions, just glad I got it back. Now have to follow up with LCPD to let them know gun is recovered.
