Not bad longcast. Better than me I did lawn work and drank beer all day. I'm just about topped off now.

Finished off the weekend with a trip under the lights last night. Cora gave us all lessons and was happy to let us know it. Finished with 33 trout and 15 reds.

Water in the channel looked like crap when we tried there
yesterday evening. Did pick up a few fish out there
though. Water was pretty in
the lake and north or south
didn't matter.

Nice catch...should not be long before the trout start biting in the lake again.

Like Josh said, fish could be caught in the channel, but the water was terrible - we did see some boats catching who were posted up throwing live bait. Water in the lake was absolutely beautiful. Big schools of reds were running in turners, but so was an armada of boats. All fish were caught on plastics, with glow and chartreuse (chartreuse primarily) as the hot tickets. Friday evening a bad storm rolled in, but we toughed it out and manage to catch bull reds in the lake until our hands hurt.

Hopefully this rain doesn't mess things up bc the water was purdy!!
