Awesome! You should get a scag welded in that tunnel if you run in alot of grass. I had southside put one in mine and I hardly ever have to clean prop when running in grass.

Ever since I went to the tunnel hull I don't fight the grass near as bad as when I was running a flat bottom. We run a tunnel hull with a skeg and I really don't like how it handles, plus we cross a place with a hard bottom and when the water's low we get high centered. Also when I was running my CMC tilt n trim I hardly ever had to clean the prop, hopefully the frame won't break on this one like it did on my CMC. I went with a Panther this time.

Did you run it yet? Looks a little too low, keep in mind you usually have to run your motor higher the more setback the jackplate has. Looks like that one has a few inches more setback than the CMC. Looks good though, southfork makes the best factory built tunnel hands down.

Havent ran it yet, i agree i think i'll have to raise it more because it looks to have at least 2 inches more setback, i do love southforks vented tunnel, it'll skoot for a tunnel.

What kind of numbers you seeing speed wise with this setup? I also thought with a tunnel the motor was supposed be as close to the tunnel as possible? IRDK, just trying to get some ideas for when I buy me one.

I run around 33whether im by myself or 3 guys empty, im thinking that since ive raised my motor im an inchish high causing me to not get my optimal speed by myself, but im running faster with a load so I'm happy since this is my duck boat

It's true they run better closer to the tunnel, but I've road with McNabb in a 20x36 that had two jack plates bc somebody cut the transom he had a 4" jack plate with the pt 35 cmc I believe and it never had a problem gettin up and it was very quick.

Extend your tunnel and it will keep the water from going to high on the motor and creating drag I will try to attach a pic of mine.
