Default Trim Tab Troubles?!?!

My Lenco trim tabs are not working. When I hit the switch for either tab the control box clicks but I am not getting any response out of my tabs. Is it a safe bet to replace the control box or is there another reason the tabs may not be working? I realize that without looking at the boat it is hard to give a diagnosis but I was hoping someone had a similar problem that was an easy fix. Any help on this matter is appreciated.

IF I remeber correctly, there is a solonoid that controls the tabs. It may be out.

Sounds like solenoid is stuck open, try hitting switch & tapping the solenoid with screwdriver handle this will sometimes break it free

Lucas,
If you are getting power to the box but not out. Your control box is probably shot. There are no external solenoids, its all contained in the control box. Lencos part # for the replacement box is 30134-001. You can call Lenco to verify, they also have a good technical dept

Yes I did Ryan and thanks, they look great. I'm going to start bringing the rod and flies on most all of my trips. I figure if I can catch the specks working under the birds I should have a chance. That is if I don't catch a gull instead.
