Default Rollover and Rockerfeller

Can anyone tell me if it is worth going out of Rollover and hitting up the rigs about 8 to 15 miles offshore, and what would be good bait to use if so? Thanks.

Yes but the trout show up a little later in the summer.

Any other info on this? I've never fished them but just got a boat that should be perfect for that type of trip. ZX2400

If you like hard heads and gaff tops go for it. Also you might be a little wide to go out of rollover with that boat. My gator tail is close to hitting when we go out of the pilings in rollover bayou. If you want to try offshore for trout go out of the mermentau or fwc.
