Default Grand isle this weekend

I'm headed to grand isle this coming weekend for a bachelor party. How is the wade fishing this time of year? I don't really want to pull my boat as I'll be drinking heavily! Haha

You can probably catch some reds off the side of the road and maybe some trout

Call Capt Danny Wray. He will get you squared away. Boat or kayak trips. http://www.calmwatercharters.net

I had customers down the last two weeks and while they were not fishing with me, they were fishing the beach. The ones that decided to wade, mid island reported good catches of bull reds and eating size black drum out in the trough. Most recently another crew was hitting bull reds and bull drum off of the fishing bridge.

You don't want to be in the surf with 15-20mph SE winds... be very careful

You may be able to fish in some protected areas along Hwy 1 off the bank for redfish or off the pier at Bridgeside Marina.
