Default Hand Gun Guys (1911 ?)

Have any of you had any experience with Rock Island Armory 1911's?? They run like 400 bucks and my buddy just got one and it's awsome...shoots better than my m&p IMO....thinkin bout buying one but not sure...all the reviews say they are great guns and shoot just as well if not better than the high end models...they are basic GI models but look sweet...and are made with all colt internals from what I understand...no rail under the barrel but all I want to add to it is a grip laser....

Any input appreciated?

My cousin carries one in his truck. He has a couple dif kimbers but tells me the rock island is about as good as a 1911 can get for the price. I love the 1911. I like my Springfield 4 inch barrel. Shoots just as good as a 6.

Theres nothing wrong with alot of those cheaper guns.I always liked the feel of the Llama 1911,shoots just fine and I would rather leave that in the truck over a Kimber
