Default Lake Dauterive Water Levels

I am going to hit up Lake Dauterive Friday morning. Gonna fish some bass and crappie.

Wondering if anyone has been out there lately. I am kind of worried about the water levels being deep enough to get out at Marshfield Landing and heading out to the lake.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

It's plenty high enough i was catching a few in Texaco Field but then the water came up so high with south winds it slowed the bite... they should be a few fish around though.

I fish Fausse Point pretty reguarly in springtime but i lived in Loreauville for 10 years and fished it heavy then, it's noit a place to fill your box but 15-20 sacs is a good day and usually really nice fish there. Good luck and blue/white is almost fail safe in that lake.

I'm looking at fishing the bridge to the left of the launch and then heading out into the main lake. The only thing is, when looking at a google image of the lake, the slip that leads to the lake looks muddy as hell when just entering the main body of water. I have a jackplate on my bass boat but don't want to get stuck.

The water level was SO low out there this morning. It had dropped a good foot or so over the past few days. I got stuck 2 or 3 times and my motor stopped pissing bc of getting stuck. Fish Sampson's cove and I just couldn't take the wind and low water anymore so I called it a day early. Caught 0 and had no hits.
