And you think a "WEATHER MAN" can make a prediction that is accurate?

My prediction is there will be a tropical storm 3000 mile away and the "WEATHER MAN [WOMEN]" will talk about it for 5 minutes on the news.

Haven't heard any predictions. I'm sure when they come out you can divide by 2, add 5, multiply by zero and add 10 and you'll be close lol.

The 2016 Atlantic hurricane season forecast released Thursday from Colorado State University calls for the number of named storms and hurricanes to be near historical averages.

A total of 12 named storms, five hurricanes and two major hurricane are expected this season, according to the forecast prepared by CSU, which is headed by Dr. Phil Klotzbach in consultation with long-time hurricane expert Dr. William Gray.

This is close to the 30-year average of 12 named storms, six hurricanes and three major hurricanes.

This thread should be deleted / banned / flagged / discarded, and never spoken about.

For those of us around here, if we are going to talk about them, we say "H".

But we never-ever say the full word, as we believe one is calling it like the monster it is.

What will happen will happen. Hurricanes make me laugh (I know it's no joke for y'all down south so don't get pissy). Oh there's a hurricane. Hit krogers and everyone has buggies of water and batteries. I'm trying to check out with some pizzas and burittoes. Next stop is for beer. Always someone paying 8 bucks for a case of water at the chevron. Me I'm thinking should have that already and the wind is like 30/35. Pretend it's March. Got a kite? Lol
A hurricane is minor for us in this area but it sure will show you how unprepared people are for something that is a real issue.
