Default Where to buy crab traps?

Anywhere between Lafayette and BR near I-10?
Just need a couple. Going to Florida next week and my little nephew will get a kick out of it I think.
Thanks.

Are you leaving from Lafayette to head to Florida, if so will you will be taking HWY. 90? If so there is Southern Wire in Raceland. If you don't want to deal with that Academy and Wal-Mart both carry them in my area.

Don't waste your money on the junk at academy, Crawfish Center is another option on a good trap. 337-363-3099. Located between Opelousas and Ville Platte.

just for an FYI, if your going to florida and use them you need to check if there are any different regulations on the escape rings and funnels that differ in florida as well as the ID tagging regs.

some states don't require ID tags but some do and some require metal tags stamped with your license number on them and something like that might not be easy to come by at the last minute when you are who knows where trying to use them
