We have become so well conditioned........respects to pox's thoughts......the end of the day we need a three party system where we, normal people, are not made to feel we have to hate the boggy man to be a part of a party

Gooh I don't disagree with much you have said. I believe a person should take it upon themselveses to seek to become qualified in anything they do. Driving, shooting etc. I don't believe the government should take away freedoms you already have then sell you back to you. It should be a personal responsibilty to do well in anything you do. I think maybe we can both agree on the lack of personal responsability now days.

How do you know how much time anyone on here has spent praying for the victims today? I started off this post offering prayers....actually when I read the news this morning I prayed, when I went to Bible study we prayed as a group, and in church service we all prayed for the victims, their loved ones, AND our enemies, that they can have a changed heart. I didn't just type "sending prayers" on a social media site, I actually spoke to the living God and creator of everything on their behalf, asking for His Grace to heal. And I ended with some what of a prediction about how it would be covered. Prediction wasn't fair, because it has become so...well, predictable.

Sure Obama will not say anything about this guy being Muslim nor ISIS

He will say this young man was mental ill and if we had stricter gun laws we could of stopped him from getting a gun

He should of been evaluated by a physic to see if he was stable to own a gun
then he should of had proper care under a DR for his illness
and if gun laws were passed this guy would of never got his hands on a gun because Government systems always work

but Liberals say its a HATE CRIME just attack ON GAYS

Well, I think the simplest answer to that is that people don't believe in prayer anymore. You could post that on social media, and I guarantee you would get someone making a comment about "asking a big imaginary friend in the sky" to help us.

Or, as I've seen, comments about how these were gay men and women, and God doesn't help them.

It's just the day and age we live in. Prayer takes a backseat to everything else.

I think a lot of people are praying but not bragging about it. It's a private thing for most. No different than donating to a charity then getting on here and patting your own back about what you did. Smalls this is not a shot at you or anyone just a thought.

That would be politically incorrect and offensive.

You have to be pretty stupid (or a pot smoker) to confuse Constitutional liberties with reasonable regulation of things that are within the state's powers to regulate.

RKBA is a fundamental Constitutional right. Owning and driving cars is a privilege.

Only those who are foolish, evil, and/or stupid refuse to see the difference.

Or perhaps those who believe in prayer also believe the Lord instructed his people not to call attention to their prayers.

Something about praying in secret.

Boycott licenses and hunters safety.

On another note, how come everyone is a proponent of hunters safety courses prior to being able to hunt, but any talk of required course for gun ownership is tin foil hat city?
Good Point....

Apparently you both missed my point. There is a pretty good chance that if you say something about praying for anyone on social media, you are going to get ripped for having an imaginary friend. My post was in direct response to Pox's post about why you don't see anything about prayer on social media.

No doubt there are people praying, but you can't broadcast it on social media without being ripped by those who don't believe in prayer and God.

Yeah, you shouldn't go around patting your back about prayer, but no one said anything about that. And the posts that both Pox and I are talking about are not those. It's the "we need to be praying for these innocent lives that were lost" posts that you aren't seeing much of, as opposed to the "ban guns" fights going on, or the "guns don't kill people, terrorists kill people" posts.

You missed your own point. People that are truely praying aren't talking about it. I'm not one of those so no I'm not patting my back.
