Default Amazing Coffee Table

I saw this and had to share. This guy made a coffe table/display case out of a mosin nagant shipping and storage crate. As a mosin nagant owner and advocate I found this to be an amazing must have piece of work. But it raised the question, where exactly does one find a crate like this? I know there are still alot of these guns still packed in preservative grease in surplus lots that havnt see daylight since the 40's and 50'. Anyway, enjoy the pics. He has the M44 and also the M91/30 and some bonus mosin pistols.

I saw a how to article a while back on building a crate like this. I would love to have one in my living room, but the wife doesn't feel as passionate as I do for fine art! Lol

As far as a crate, you can check surplus stores that carry them. They may have got their shipment in these crates. I would imagine, however, that the crates probably sell faster than the Mosin's themselves. Another route would be to set up a group buy on a crate through an FFL with the agreement that yu get the crate. There are at least 2 on this site for sure. If all else fails.....Ebay.

I think Mitchell Mausar also handles Mosin Nagants. I may be mistaken though. If so they may have a source for a crate. Its a long shot but better than no option. Good luck bro.
