Default waterloo salinity

Just picked up a 6'6" med-light power, mod-fast action from academy. Anyone have experience with this model? Pros and Cons would be appreciated before i pull the tags off.

Bring it back, buy a Duce, Calcasieu Extreme. ..etc. F*** Academy, never stepping foot in Academy again. Figure I'll save at least $150 a month by not going back.

Brought back a Falcon Bucoo, second time fishing with it and snapped on a redfish hookset. They dont carry the Bucoo anymore so they offered me $.01 in store credit. I didn't have a receipt

I have the 7' and really really like it for jigs. It broke and I was able to exchange it with no receipt at academy.

Thought about pulling the trigger on a Duce couple months ago until the customer service issue surfaced. If I get a custom I'll go with a laguna. Fished with one this spring and could feel a trout fart In the water. I picked up that salinity in academy and did the little rod tip wiggle and liked the way it felt. Ive just never fished with one. Thanks for the feedback fellas.

Ya know the sunglass holder on the roof of your truck..the one that never has sunglasses in it? Thats where I keep all of my academy receipts.

I noticed academy in Hammond has no falcon rods; just all star and some low end rods.

I have that rod. I use it for topwater. It is extremely light and a 27" red will work you with it. But it's super sensitive and great for tops.

I have a Lews on it and really like it. You can feel the softest bite with a jig.
