Diawa has sealed bearings. No other real I've seen does. Nevwr a single problem with my coastals. My curado sounds like a pecan cracker every time I use it. And its the only reel I clean.......I have never cleaned my diawas

Nope.....that's been everytime I use it in salt. Sounds hirrible the next tine I use it for the first 5 or so casts

I have a curado that is 4 years old fishing salt all I do is oil it every now and then. No problems what so ever.

Hold off until after ICast Shimano has a brand new Chronarch CI4 coming out, seen the reel on a fishing show it looks bad azz.

Interesting. I love my Stradics ci4
( best spinning reel ever made ) the chron ci4 stated to be coming in @ 280$

They are coming out with a new stradic ci4 as well....I hope they don't use the compact body like they used on the new symetre. Damn bail hits your knuckles while reeling.
