Default Meat Haul!

Had a good day with a good buddy today out of logansport. We left the house at 5am, put the boat in the water at 6:30, got to our first spot a couple minutes short of 7am and limited out by 8:30.

Pink, Orange, and Red head roadrunner's with black/chart and white/chart grub tails were the ticket.

Fish are staged real strong on the sandbars is current protected spots. They were very concentrated though, being a few feet off with your catch would result in a fish every 4-5 casts. when you were right on... every cast.

Going to have to get the kid's up there to have some fun. (words to the wise the city of logansport white bass tournament is this upcoming weekend so it might be a zoo if you go up this wknd)

From what i understand (as long as weather don't interfere) the next 3-4 weeks should all be solid for the white bass. hopefully we can hook up before then and make a run up there. my darned arms are tired from catching and cleaning all day...

It was a blast, there were so many fish stacked up in this one spot that we were seriously concerned that they were getting enough water to breathe..

Went up again today, Put about 50 in the boat between 3 of us. Bite flat out turned off about 10am when the wind came up. Must have been 40+ boats out of garrett park today at 11am. going to be a zoo out of there this weekend for the white bass tourney.
