Shimano Stradic's for spinning reeels. I honestly don't think you will find a better saltwater reel that holds up to the harsh saltwater environment. I have replaced every single spinning reel that I have with Stradics and now own 6. I've tried everything else on the market but for the performance, quality, and money the Stradic hands down is easily the best. I like it better than the Stella's I had.

Baitcasting you have a hundred options the Chronarch, Revo, Lews, etc. The Chronarch's are indestructible but there are others in the same price range that are off the chain.

I like my stratic on my soltaeous rod. Just got a 50e on a 7' skeleton though...haven't been to the water yet but it casts great! Never was a bait caster fan until I bought that setup!!!

Every1 knows I'm hell on rods Duce been only one stand up to the Adams test. Like my brother says if it can last 2 yrs w me last average man 20 yrs
