Default Scouting

I never a scouted in the refuge. If I was hunting a new area I would launch a little later in the morning after the rush. Launch just a little before sunrise then head out into the marsh. Then slide into your spot where you hear lots of shooting and calling.

That's why you need a liberal amount of face paint to protect you from "face blasters" like this guy.

I don't have to try, its what I do.

I have been very successful with this technique and I don't intend to stop now.

Trust me it WILL happen. Especially this weekend. I hunt more than the average joe and see it all the time. I stopped hunting Sabine on the opener years ago because of the idiots out there. They will ruin a hunt in a hurry. I like to go later in the season when the wana be "duck commanders" find it to cold or nasty to go. PS much respect to the people who obey the rules. Wish there was more off you out there.
