Father/Daughter Quality Time 5-4

Joe Simpson was back with me today with his daughter. Today was all about father/daughter quality time. High North winds had us limited on where we could fish. My goal was to get them on some specks and bull reds, mission accomplished. We found some birds diving on shrimp and had trout coming in 1-2 at a time for a short while. The schools were moving fast, so it was important to make as many casts as you could quickly. Once the trout bite slowed down, we made a move and dropped some crabs down. We had several take downs and hook ups. My crew loved the fight of the bulls and were so excited. It was a pleasure fishing together and seeing the excitement they shared reeling in fish.
