5/12/15 Trout Work

At the daily grind again today with a 4 boat trip for T Baker Smith. The forecast looked good and everything looked right, except the water. We arrived to our first spot and it was stained and dingy. We actually caught a few fish but every one of them was too small. I stayed awhile hoping for bigger fish but it wasn't to be. I decided for the long run in search of good water. About 20 miles later we hit some green water. The hunt was on. The fish were not cooperating except for an occasional keeper and the bites were few and far between. They were certainly very picky today and wanted an extremely slow presentation. Lots of misses and pulled hooks. They just weren't feeding heavily today in the area we fished but we were persistent enough to get the job done in the end. Big thanks to Andre Trahan and Kenny Smith for setting up the trip.
