Default Lake P trestles 5-10

Took my buddy to the trestles yesterday. We ended up with 35 decent trout fishing from about 9-1. It was a boat show when we first got out but as it started getting rough around 11am the boats started to clear out and that is when the fish turned on big time. We left them hitting at 1 to get back home for mothers day.

It was blowing pretty good. I needed about a 90" shaft trolling motor. Lol

Nice looking morning there this am, about 30 boats on trestle. Green water started .7 mile from north shore on Hwy 11. Nasty fresh river water inside of that.

Artificial or live?

We couldn't get a bite on either from 7:30-8:30 so we moved and found some at the twin span and off some rocks.

Just arti. I never use live. I think the fish wont bite till the boats move off of them. Thats why I dont fish the trestles often and prefer the causeway but yesterday may have been too rough at cway.

Yesterday was too rough everywhere! We need to make a trip together. I can take off most days, but this Friday I am in a golf tourny.
