Default Outstanding Trout Fishing in Cocodrie 5/19/15

We finally got the good weather we've been looking for and the trout got the memo bright and early this morning. My customers John Balenseifren and Lloyd Nelius put a quick lick on some chunky yellow mouths. Slick calm water, every cast, as soon as the bait hit the water! That bite was quickly shut down by some inconsiderate boaters forcing me to relocate. Glad I did because the trout got bigger. Right off the bat they were in a frenzy eating up the Reflexion Swimbaits Ghost Lil Bammer. I had the Duce rod bowed up and slinging in big fat hungry yellow mouths. The guys were hammering away in the hot spot. When the smoke cleared the box was stuffed and we were northbound. What a great day with great customers!

yep, they don't have to contend with the outfall of the Wax Lake Outlet and the Atchafalaya River.
