Mangrove Catching

Left from the point at 5:30 with 300 croakers and a few shrimp & cocahoes in the live well with hopes to get on a trout bite then head to the Mangrove grounds.
Well trout water was really not good but we gave it a shot only to catch 3 with a ton of the normal trash fish, basically wasting good croakers! Headed south and picked at Mangrove, rig hopping four rigs and skipping a few until our 5th stop found the mother load of big hungry groves. Would have easily caught our limit of 60 had we not wasted those croakers on those trash fish at trout rigs. But it was an awesome day regardless, myself and my buddy making memories with our sons! Ended the day with 44 Mangroves & 3 trout👍🏽👍🏽
