Default 6-11-12 mathgeek trip

Michael(mathgeek) and Josh L. Came this a.m. In some Nasty winds for sure...we didn't stay out long but we hit one bank this mourning and caught all our fish on top water .....once we left that area we made a wrap around whole lake but winds were way to high to fish anything

These guys got skills. I learned more about fishing Big Lake in one day than I have in the past decade. Josh and "W" are a couple of great guys and it was a pleasure fishing with them.

I'd like to take this opportunity to disagree with "W" on a number of points that are nagging me:

1. Hardhead catfish are great in po-boys. Why do you think they invented Tobasco?
2. The slime should be no impediment to keeping and enjoying the gafftopsail catfish.
3. The New Orleans Saints are the superior team to the Chicago Bears.
4. Niissan engines are better!
5. Aluminum boats over fiberglass any day.
6. Black drum are suprisingly palatable.
7. Sheepshead are worth the effort to clean.
8. Math is fun!
9. Shrimp are food and bait.
10. Crabs are bait, not food.
