I am in favor of a duck tag system. Either a daily limit license like it is now or an option to buy extra tags at $5.00 a tag. I know I have had mornings where I could shoot a pile.

They would have to have a limit on the number of tags you could buy as well. No way they would set a limit and then allow you to buy unlimited tags above that.

I don't ever see that being a reality. It essentially defeats the purpose of a limit. If you allow people to buy 4 more tags, you might as well raise the limit by 4.

I agree but if the price is right per tag, then the LDWF's mouths will drool over the extra revenue.

The last thing we need is having money serve as the sole purpose of extra tags. It's never good when money and politics starts to impede with conservation. Limits are limits

Exactly. Let conservation decisions be driven by the science, not money or politics.

Larry has already said the seasons are set so far in advance because of politics. Don't let more money or politics influence the management.

All wildlife and seafood are a public resource. Government might have the power to regulate how much is harvested. I'll be damned if I have to purchase my birds from them though.

Bought a Blue-Wing Riceland call at the EXPO. Sounds really good! Went see my little badazz dog at the trainer yesterday as well. Can't wait!
