Default Teal Pond.

Looking for a roller that will fit behind a 4 wheeler. Anyone know where to buy one or have someone make one for me.

Go with someone who has experience with fabricating them. A guy let us borrow a homemade job he did and it didn't work. He hadn't even used it yet. It looked great, but wasn't designed great. The barrel was way oversized and it would float when it was empty. Well once we let enough water in it to where it would actually punch the rice stubble in, the 4 wheeler could barely pull it. We were using a Honda Rubicon, its a good sized bike and has a good bit of tourque.

I agree. In order to buffalo, you need a lot of weight. More weight than a 4wheeler can handle. Thats just my opinion

I know they arent made to buffalo...... Tractors are, I just dont have one...

I have made ponds with them before, it takes a while and you need a big bike with good tires. Its a pain in the a** but it is either hunt or dont hunt.

You need swamper vampires, a fat boy, and a full tank of gas.

You would probably have better luck just riding a pond out IMO

I use a 750 brute force with 30'' silverbacks and it pulled it fine and did a great job knocking stubble down.

Best thing to do a teal pond is once the rice is cut..... Get a bush hog and cut your holes...this chops the rice up real good and when u flood back up its on...

Farmer might not appreciate that too much, and isn't that illegal??? But I do agree, when you would flood that, it would be on!!!
