Default rem managed recoil

Anyone have input on the managed recoil loads by remington. Looking to use them on a 270.

Everything I have seen posted.......is all good.

The managed recoil bullets make the gun shoot like a "smaller" cal. rifle. These bullets will have less recoil, but also have less "knock-down" power.

Go to Rem web site.....they should have information on the bullet performance.

I guess this is kinda like a sub-sonic round? If so, the trajectory is much different than a standard round.

If you purchase them, go to the range and check the sight in before heading to the woods.

I shot them for a couple of years and then got away from them.

The recoil is great. The ballistics not so great. I shot a doe and a small buck with them at about 80 yards each and they traveled a long way for where the shot placement was. The fall off fast outside of a 100 yards or so. I shoot a 270.

Went to Fusion and for no more than I shoot my rifle, 3 or 4 shots during the season and 5 or 10 sighting in, the ballistics and damage was worth a litttle extra kick to me. With a regular load they don't travel far.

Matter of fact I have some boxes of managed recoil I'll sell you if you want to try them.
