Cheers Big Lake 10/13/09 Afternoon Smash

Plans of our morning trip were cut off due to weather ...So climbed back in bed and waited to see what the weather would hold.... David H Called me about Noon and said its a go..... Got out on the water to the spot and bait was everywhere.... Few birds picking here and there but mostly we chased schools of trout chasing shrimp....... It was some fast action!!!

Good catch ! Nice kicker. Talked to to different friends that wouldn't believe the shrimp weren't going to show this afternoon. They finally agreed and they said the specks and red's were in full force at lamberts.

Nice catch. Isn't it great that the specks bite pretty much all day this time of year? Still catching on sand eels?
