Default Vbay Storm Surge Reports!

If anybody is heading out or staying inland to fish the surge, please post in here, or post up anywhere. I'm thinking about doing some fishing(when and where it is safe) over the next few days. The further inland the report the better. I'm hoping that the fish run inland as the water starts to rise to head for shelter.

We went to the bay yesterday. Water was being ripped out of there.

How did you do. I was there yesterday on the afternoon on the inside till 7pm. The water was beautiful and slick as glass after 5pm. Good tide moving, clear water. But didn't see any bait anywhere i went and no fish either. Fished the cove, Blue point, Mud Point, Dry reef structures. Two specks caught. Where is all the bait? Should be good after this storm passes.

We ended up with 17 specs, 2 flounder, and 2 reds. We caught ours at the point itself.
