Do you want to do it? Not being a smart SSS but that takes a significant amount of work. Now the good have to suffer with the bad since it was moved to the gill net. Removing several posts takes a great deal of time.

I agree with you 100% the thread had some very good info in it. That is why I asked more than once to please keep it on point.

Anyway, Isaac has made his second US landfall in Grand Isle after crossing over the mouth of the river. Apparently, it is moving west...contrary to what the NHC is saying.
Yep....if it keeps it up it will hit the whole la coast,oh well

Sad day in SaltyCajun History when people ruin a thread about a hurricane and get it sent to the gill net.

Is trolling an infraction?

I think that would depend on who was doin' the trollin'. It's sad because alot of people have stopped posting on Salty Cajun because of it. I agree...innocent, valid threads like this being sent to that trash pile is ridiculous....when it could be stopped so easily.

Thats exactly what is happening Salty, high pressure "pushing" down on it and keeping it in place. It has actually starting moving west again and back over the gulf....not good.

The 2:00 am advisory said it remains stationary. Central pressure dropped one millibar. Has not officially made the second landfall.

That's what I've heard as well. Hope for the best at 300 they said it was weakening very slightly. Still it's the high pressure keeping from moving and just causing a massacre on the south east part of the state. Hope everyone is ok and keep up this informative thread

We're seeing 75 knot winds here in Violet according to our vessels animometers. My wife is at home in Houma and she said that she can here things hitting the house and scratching sounds on the roof which I'm guessing is shingles coming off. It really sucks not being able to at home with them for this.
