Default Breaking in my newly built fire pit

I couldn't decide where to post this, but one things for sure its general BS. I spent the day putting our gardens to bed (pun intended) for the winter. Das the gardening part, whacked up a truck load of my favorite kind of camp fire wood...FREE After all that I fired up my fire pit built from country boy parts and kicked back to enjoy the spoils of my labor. In fine CAjun fashoned, (the cooking part)

Thanks man after all the work getting it ready as shown on the blog I figured might as well sit back and enjoy it. The grill and porkchops were an alkyhol induced last minute thing. If ya gonna try out a new fire pit might as well go the whole hog so to speak.

Yeah I did kinda the same thing about a week ago. Decided to do a couple of rib eyes for me and the wife. So I threw a few bricks together that would fit a small grill I had laying around. Nothing like rib eyes done over wood. Sometimes, it's the simple things that are best. And yeah, I like a tab of butter on mine.
