Voodoo was dead on guys. Although there is truth to the fact that many of the components that manufactures use are available to the custom builder it does not mean that everyone builds the same way or to the same quality. Casey is a great guy and does amazing work. Most custom rods will be much better built then anything you buy off the shelf. Do they sometimes cost more? Sure but your not buying a mass produced, fit for everyone not fit for you, rod. I think you'll like what Casey is going to build you.

To answer the poster that stated "aren't custom rods just dressed up versions of anything a manufacture makes?" Get you a custom rod made, and you'd be surprised how quickly that changes.
