Exactly, I could give one of my fields to a rookie that's never shot a goose in his life and say have it. I bet he might be lucky to kill one or two. It takes skill and preparation to get that 3ft Wing span within 15 yards.

I can fish every single day and not get burned out, same goes for duck hunting...Yea this time of year fishing is great and them big girls can be had a lot easier, but something about getting out and making a good blind, setting up right and calling the birds in does something for me that fishing cant. Maybe its the fact that its a season and not year round or maybe its being able to fool them birds and watching them change plans mid-air and cup up for me. I couldn't pick one or the other!
