Default 02-23-13 Big Lake

First time on the water since teal season opened. Fished from 6:30 till 4:30. 1 rat red, that's it! Only bite we had. Turners, Black Lake, Turners again then West Cove. Wind lay'd about 2:45 and started blowing again about 4:00.

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Default LNG

Buddy & I did real well in LNG. Fished the drain pipe past the coal dock and east bank. Most caught on white gulp shrimp slow on the bottom, 20' deep.

I thought the drain pipe [on the north bank] was inside the "security zone" and you would get run-off or hauled off to jail if you were caught fishing there.

I've never been bothered there. I think the fence is the west boundry and goes 500' staight out. Maybe just been lucky.

I might just have to do that. I'm thinking of trying again tomorrow.

If I do I'll shoot you a text.

Thanks!
