Cocodrie Smokodrie
Wind was blowing 20mph so we fished some back bays in Dulac and ran into chocolate/fresh water. Tried to make it out to some rigs and didn't make it past Coco's as the ship channel had 2-3 footers with that steady south wind rolling. Even in a big whaler we got beat up worse than W in a spelling bee... Gave up around noon and called it a day. Mother nature better kick it in high gear as fishing down there is tough right now! |

Neither. Left out of a camp near Falgout Canal and ran down through Four Point Bayou...Was a nice boat ride but that was about it.

Thanks for the info. We were thinking that Lake Boudreaux might have some protection but we called it quits before going there. Heard that the water is still really fresh...
